WHY DOES RIUS RACING NEED MY INFORMATION?
Rius Racing needs your information in order to better serve our customers. We want to personalize and continually improve our ability to provide you with world class service while you navigate and shop for products on our website. When making product choices via searches, purchases, placement of orders, or communication via any other method (telephone, email, fax, or mail) we want to provide you with the most efficient response possible. ARE YOU GOING TO SHARE MY INFORMATION?
Business often involves the sharing of information. Processing your information is an important part of doing business. We are not in the business of selling your information to other sources. Be assured we do not share your information with other companies that do not need to be involved with the transaction of your order.
Fulfillment: Rius Racing collects information for the purposes of processing orders, order status notifications, statistics, website improvements, advertisements or offers, along with amazing promotions and discount programs that may be offered by Rius Racing. In order to process your credit card transactions we will disclose our personally identifiable information to the third parties necessary to charge your credit card, fill your order, deliver your order, provide quality customer service, and provide you with a credit if necessary. For example we must release your credit card information to the card issuing bank to confirm payment and release your address and telephone information to the delivery service to deliver products that you ordered.
Other Parties: Rius Racing does not sell, trade, or rent your personally identifiable information to others without your consent. We may provide non-personally identifiable information about our customers’ sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to third parties, but these statistics do not include any personally identifiable information. If a customer does not pay for goods or services rendered, we may surrender their account to a third party collections agency.
HOW SAFE AM I REALLY?
Security is our top priority at Rius Racing. In an effort to efficiently serve you, credit card transactions and order fulfillment may be handled by established third party processing agents and distribution institutions. They receive and process the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card or other payment for the purposes of processing your order. Rius Racing works diligently to protect the security of your account information during the transmission by using Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input providing protection against unauthorized access to your computer and passwords. Make sure you properly signoff when using a shared computer.
To put it simply cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that allow our systems to recognize your browser and provide features such as storage of items in your shopping cart between visits to our website. You may need to set your browser to allow cookies if your system currently does not allow cookies in order for you to put items in your shopping cart. Your computer system “help” option, available in most operating systems will walk you through a series of prompts necessary to allow cookies.
