Rius Wins in Osaka, Japan—Nishikinohama Grand Prix 2010 (KJSF’S JET CARNIVAL2010)
It was our honor to be invited by the KJSF who belong to JJSF, Quakysense (Benny, Kazue, and Sarah),Mr. Ryuji Suai of Hope Jet Sports Service Shop-Tokyo, and Mr. Junichi Kanzaki to the Nishikinohama for the Grand Prix. We were greeted at our hotel by the entire group of our hosts, after many hours of travel we were taken to a wonderful dinner full of laughs with the crew from Quakysense, Mr. Suai, and Mr. Kanzaki.

We arrived in Osaka a few days before the wonderful Jet Carnival started and enjoyed being part of the reveal to our exclusive dealer in Japan, Hope Jet Sports and his associate Mr. Kanzaki. When you get to be part of the complete project and see the finished product revealed to the customer you have a great feeling of accomplishment.

We froze in a little river to do some testing and tuning, the funniest road sign ever appeared on the side of the road—a crazy sign of a wild boar! Good times were had in that car—BANG Mr. Suai! Our hosts treated us to some of the best food in Japan, checking out crazy stuff in a grocery store, and checking out all the Hundred store had to offer!
Rius Racing had some great competition at the Grand Prix, but we happily took home First Place in Pro Runabout. The JJSF gave us a warm welcome to the festivities that took place prior to racing. The motos were full of excitement! The fans and the racers both make this event so fun, the entire team at Rius Racing is very thankful to all that participated with all of you.

Special Thanks to the wonder crew at Quakysense especially Benny and Kazue with little Sarah, along with their staff who graciously helped us with all our needs! Mr Suai and Mr Kanzaki for your over the top hospitality, for giving us the wonderful gift of experiencing the beautiful Temples of Osaka and the crazy carriage drivers. The JJSF for inviting us to be your special guests. The fans who turned out to the races, without you racing wouldn’t be as fun! To the entire Rius Racing Team: Nicolas Rius “The Fighter” who rides hard to win (You’re the Man!) , Mistie his blonde sidekick and girlfriend-momma d’amour, Alexis his baby d’amour who bought everything Hello Kitty in Japan, Josh Paddock the chief mechanic (Mofo) his wife Dara our photographer, and Joel Thayer our mechanics left arm! Josh and Joel you worked long hours to make this machine she is the F1 of PWC! Dara thanks for lending a hand and living without your husband sometimes. To the Rius Family we all work hard and our success pays off—never forget how we appreciate you!!
We hope next year we are privileged to be invited back for more racing fun in Japan!
