Rius Connecting Rods VS stock rods and many aftermarket rods. NO doubt about it, these custom forged rods are much stronger than stock and an absolute must for modified motors. Our connecting rods feature a knife edge design, which in essence is a radiused leading edge along the beam. This is an improvement over the conventional I-beam design by reduces the friction (windage effect) between the rod and the air/oil in the lower end of the motor allowing your motor to produce more HP particularly at high engine RPM's.
